Sri Lanka rupee opens flat, bond yields down

Although bond yields were lower, traders said that Sri Lanka’s rupee started at 299.31/39 to the US dollar on Thursday, essentially unchanged from its closing of 299.32/38 on Wednesday.

A bond maturing on 15.09.2027 was quoted at 8.45/54 percent, down from 8.48/55 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.02.2028 was quoted at 8.65/75 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.10.2028 was quoted at 8.80/90 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.09.2029 was quoted flat at 9.40/48 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.03.2031 was quoted at 9.95/10.03 percent, from 9.90/10.02 percent.

A bond maturing on 01.11.2033 was quoted at 10.43/45 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.09.2034 was quoted at 10.40/50 percent.
