Uber Eats in Sri Lanka has launched a new campaign called “Get Almost, Almost Anything,” which focuses on delivering a wide range of products beyond just food. The platform now offers delivery services for cooked meals, groceries, health and beauty products, pet food, and more. This expansion emphasizes Uber Eats’ growing role in the daily lives of Sri Lankans, providing seamless delivery of various items including favorite foods, groceries, gifts, and essential products.

Varun Wijewardane, Country Manager of Uber Delivery in Sri Lanka, stated, “Over the last five years, we’ve become the go-to app for people in Sri Lanka and become an essential part of their lives. As Uber Eats evolves, we wish to reiterate our commitment to continue bringing the best of Uber to the country and become a one-stop shop to meet daily needs of our customers beyond just food cravings.”

The app’s most popular items ordered include rice & curry and Chinese Rolls in the food category, as well as carrots, eggs, and Keeri Samba in the grocery category. Additionally, customers turn to the app for a wide range of items such as baby care products, cleaning supplies, beauty products, stationery, pet care items, and electronics.

To bring the “Get Almost, Almost Anything” campaign to life in Sri Lanka, Uber Eats has partnered with local personalities such as stand-up comic Dominic Kellar, singer Hana Shafa, and content creator Gangulee Walpola to showcase the diverse options available on the platform.

Since its launch in 2018, Uber Eats has become a popular app in Sri Lanka, allowing people to order from local restaurants, grocery stores, and retailers with the convenience of reliable and quick delivery.
