Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has given instructions to distribute food items and essential commodities to the market without any shortage.
As per the directives given to Secretary to the Prime Minister, steps have been taken to distribute essential commodities to the market without a shortage, the Prime Minister’s Office said issuing a communiqué today (21).
The communiqué noted that Sathosa is currently taking measures to distribute essential food items from its main warehouses while packaging and distribution activities continued today as well.
Meanwhile, Litro Gas is also making arrangements to distribute gas to the market without any shortage. Chairman of Litro Gas Company has stated that the company has enough stocks of gas to meet the consumer demand and measures have been taken to distribute gas throughout the island.
