Sri Lanka’s mobile internet speeds are yet to rebound to pre-pandemic levels while, while Fixed Broadband speeds improved in March surpassing the pre-pandemic levels, according to Ookla’s latest Speedtest Global Index.
In March, Sri Lanka’s mobile internet speeds were ranked at 118th globally with 17.05Mbps download speed, 8.92Mbps upload speed and 29ms latency.
Sri Lanka’s Fixed Broadband speeds were ranked at 105th globally with 29.75Mbps download speed, 14.05Mbps upload speed, and 26ms latency.
Madlives had the fastest mobile internet speeds in South Asia and India had the fastest Fixed Broadband speeds in the region.
