The benchmark All Share Price Index (ASPI) of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) broke the 7,000 point mark today for the first time since August 2014.
The market saw a record turnout exceeding Rs 7 billion today with 44% contribution coming from the Food & Beverage sector.
The Market closed today at 7,037 points gaining 58 points. However, foreign investors continued to be net-sellers while recording low participation.
